Hon. Sarah V. Weaver is a judge for the 11th Judicial District Court of New Mexico in San Juan County. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Susana Martinez in February 2018, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Sandra Price (Ret.).
The 11th Judicial District includes McKinley and San Juan Counties.
Prior to her appointment, Weaver specialized in criminal defense, family law, and personal injury matters as a private practice attorney. She also served as a deputy and chief deputy district attorney for the 11th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and was a deputy district attorney for the 7th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Weaver earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. She went on to complete a J.D. at the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1993.
