The Hon. Stanley R. Mills (Ret.) was a judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bob Martinez in 1989. He retired in 2014.
The 6th Judicial Circuit encompasses Pasco County and Pinellas County.
Prior to his judgeship, Mills worked as an attorney in private practice since 1974. He entered into private practice after serving as an assistant state attorney with the Office of the State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit from 1972 to 1978.
Mills received his B.A. from the University of South Florida. He went on to earn a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law.
He was born in Logansport, Indiana.
