The Hon. Susan C. Robson is a judge for the 8th Judicial District Court of Kansas. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Laura Kelly in October 2021, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Michael Powers.
The 8th Judicial District includes Dickinson, Geary, Marion, and Morris Counties.
Prior to her appointment, Robson was a partner at Brookens & Robson, having joined the firm in 2016. In addition to her practice, she served as the city attorney for Marion, Goessel, and Durham and was a prosecutor for Hillsboro.
Before joining the firm, Robson spent fifteen years as the County Attorney in Marion County (2001 to 2016) and was in private practice at Morse, Batt, Brookens & Collett (1994 to 2001) and Karstetter & Klenda (1991 to 1994).
She received a B.S. from Kansas State University in 1987. Robson then completed a J.D. at Washburn University School of Law in 1990.
Her memberships include the Kansas Bar Association and the City Attorney Association of Kansas.
Robson and her husband reside in Marion, Kansas.
