The Hon. Thomas M. Baronzzi is a judge for the Juvenile and Probate Division of the Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bob Taft in 2001.
Prior to his appointment, Baronzzi was an attorney in private practice with his father, handling family, probate, criminal, juvenile, and property law matters for fourteen years.
Baronzzi earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Kent State University in 1984. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Akron School of Law in 1987.
His memberships have included the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbiana County Bar Association, the Ohio Juvenile Judges Association, the Ohio Probate Judges Association, and the American Judges Association. He has also been involved with the Columbiana County Law Library Association (president), the Columbiana County Law Library Resources Board, the Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce (president), and the Lisbon Community Foundation.
A lifelong resident of Columbiana County, Baronzzi attended David Anderson High School. He currently resides on a farm in the south of Lisbon with his wife, Missy. He has served in many church ministry positions, volunteering as a mission team member to construct two churches in the Amazon Basin in Peru.
