The Hon. Timothy L. Olsen is a district judge for the Oklahoma Twenty-Second Judicial District. He was appointed to the bench on January 13, 2019.
Prior to his appointment, Olsen was an associate district judge for the Seminole County District Court, a position to which he was named in 2007. Before that, he spent time as an assistant district attorney for the Seminole County District Attorney’s Office (1993 to 2007).
Olsen earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma in 1983. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1987. He is admitted to practice in Oklahoma (1987) and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma (1987).
After graduating from law school, Olsen entered into private practice, working as an attorney at Savage, O'Donnell, Scott, McNulty & Affeldt. During his tenure there, he rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a shareholder of the firm.
