The Hon. Tony L. Yocom (Ret.) served as a judge for the Nevada County District Court and the Hempstead County District Court in Arkansas. Yocom was elected to the bench in 2016 and 2020. He retired on July 31, 2022.
Prior to his election, Yocom was a partner at Pilkinton, Pilkinton & Yocom, a law firm based in Hope. He specialized in civil, banking, negligence, probate, and real estate matters.
Yocom earned a bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University in 1979. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law in 1982. He was admitted to the State Bar of Arkansas in 1982.
His memberships have included the Hempstead County Bar Association, the Southwest Arkansas Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Yocom was born in Hope, Arkansas.
