Hon. Wendy L. Wexler Horn is a circuit judge for the 24th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. She was appointed to the position by former Governor Jay Nixon in 2015.
The 24th Judicial Circuit Court includes Madison, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, and Washington Counties.
During her judicial tenure, Wexler Horn has served as the Presiding Judge of the court. She began her judicial career as an associate circuit judge for the 24th Judicial Circuit Court, having been appointed to the bench by Governor Nixon in 2011.
Prior to joining the bench, she had worked as a prosecuting attorney in St. Francios County (2001 to 2011), a private practice attorney (1995 to 2000), and an assistant public defender (1993 to 1995).
Wexler Horn received a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1989. She went on to complete a J.D. at Saint Louis University School of Law in 1992.
Wexler Horn is a past president of the Children’s Advocacy Center of East Central Missouri Board of Directors.
She was named St. Francois County Citizen of the Year (2009) and St. Francois County Democrat of the Year (2011).
Wexler Horn and her husband, Phillip, have one son.
She is registered as a Democrat.
