TENTATIVE RULINGS

Defendant Countrywide Home Loans, Inc.'s unopposed motion for judgment on the pleadings to plaintiff Salem H. Somo's complaint is granted. The complaint, its exhibits, and the recorded documents show that Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. was just the originating lender and was not involved in the foreclosure. Thus, all of plaintiff s causes of action related to wrongful foreclosure proceedings fail. The tenth cause of action for predatory lending practices appears to be based upon Countrywide Home Loans, Inc.'s actions when the loan was made to plaintiff in 2005. Thus, the statute of limitations expired. Judicial notice is granted as requested. Countrywide shall prepare a judgment of dismissal within 10 days.
