Motion for Terminating, Evidentiary, Issue, and/or Monetary Sanctions
Having considered the moving, opposition, and reply papers, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
On July 10, 2018, Plaintiff Sonia Naranjo (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Defendant Walmart Inc. (“Defendant”), asserting causes of action for general negligence and premises liability.
On March 4, 2020, Plaintiff filed a motion for terminating, issue, evidentiary, and monetary sanctions against Defendant pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 2023.030.
On March 18 2020, the Court continued the hearing on the motion to May 12, 2020.
On April 20 2020, the Court continued the hearing on the motion to August 14, 2020.
On June 3, 2020, the Court advanced the hearing on the motion to July 24, 2020.
A trial setting conference is set for September 22, 2020.
