TENTATIVE RULING
Defendant SUTTER VALLEY HOSPITALS (erroneously sued as SUTTER
HEALTH SACRAMENTO SIERRA REGION) moves for summary judgment in its
favor against Plaintiff VICENTE ANTONIO, JR.’s complaint against it for (1)
failure to provide reasonable accommodation, (2) failure to engage in the
interactive process, (3) disability discrimination, (4) failure to prevent disability
discrimination, (5) retaliation, (6) retaliation under the Family and Medical Leave
Act (the “FMLA”) and California Family Rights Act (the “CFRA”), and (7) wrongful
termination. Defendant alternatively and in addition moves for summary
adjudication on the issue of its liability for punitive damages.
