Judge Grant Sheperd - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

Hon. Grant Sheperd is a special judge for the Comanche County District Court (District 5) in Oklahoma. He was appointed to the bench in 2019.

During his judicial tenure, Sheperd has presided over misdemeanor cases, small claims cases, wedding ceremonies, and felony preliminary hearings.

Before joining the bench, he had worked in private practice in Lawton since 2010, where he handled family law and criminal law matters.

Sheperd received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

He was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 2010.

Sheperd was born in Hobart, Oklahoma.
