Biography

Hon. Jeffrey T. Coleman is an associate circuit judge for the 23rd Judicial Circuit Court (Division 10) of Missouri. He was elected to the bench on November 4, 2014.

The 23rd Judicial Circuit Court includes Jefferson County.

During his judicial tenure, Coleman has presided in the Juvenile Division.

Prior to his election, he worked for seven years as an assistant circuit attorney with the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney’s Office (2007 to 2014), where he held an assignment in the Career Criminal Unit. Coleman was also a former assistant prosecuting attorney with the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (2000 to 2006).

He received a B.A. in political science from Truman State University in 1996. Coleman went on to complete a J.D. at Drake University Law School in 2000.
