Judge Keith Meisenheimer: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Hon. Keith Meisenheimer (Ret.) was a judge for the 4th Judicial District Circuit Court of Oregon in Multnomah County. He joined the bench in 1999. Meisenheimer retired on January 1, 2011, and began serving as a senior judge.

Prior to beginning his judicial career, he had worked as a senior deputy district attorney with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office since 1976. As a prosecutor, his caseload included crimes of violence, crimes against children, and the protection of children from abuse and neglect.

Meisenheimer received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California. He went on to complete a J.D. at Lewis & Clark Law School in 1976.

Meisenheimer served on the Board of Directors of the Portland Boys and Girls Club, the Salvation Army, and the Classroom Law Project.
