Biography

Hon. Lynda L. Heathscott (Ret.) was a judge for the Tenth Circuit Court of Michigan in Saginaw County. She was elected to the bench in 1988. Heathscott retired on April 20, 2008.


Prior to her election, she spent ten years working as an assistant prosecutor with the Saginaw County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.


Heathscott completed a J.D. at Detroit College of Law in 1978. She was admitted to practice in Michigan in 1979.


Her memberships included the Saginaw County Bar Association.


Following her retirement, Heathscott began a tenure as a Tenth Circuit Court referee, handling Friend of the Court cases in Saginaw County.
