Biography

Hon. Nick Wallace is a judge for the Grant County District Court in Washington. He was appointed to the bench by the Board of Grant County Commissioners in July 2021 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Janis Whitener-Moberg (Ret.).


Prior to his appointment, Wallace had worked for twenty-five years as a private practice attorney. During that time, he was a managing partner in the Ephrata law firm of Schultheis Tabler Wallace, PLLC, a position to which he was named in 2009. Wallace had practiced at the firm since 1996.


He also sat as a pro tem judge in the Grant County Superior Court for ten years.


In addition to his private practice, he taught business law as an adjunct instructor at Big Bend Community College.


Wallace received a B.A. in business administration from the University of Washington. He then completed a J.D. at Seattle University School of Law.


From a civic standpoint, Wallace has participated in the Grant County Special Olympics, the Ephrata Youth Soccer Club (past president), Girls Soccer (director), the Endeavour Soccer Academy, the Moses Lake boys varsity soccer team (assistant coach), Washington State University “Gear Up", and the Grant County Law Library Committee (chairman).
