Biography

The Hon. Tamecia S. Glover is an associate judge for the 400th District Court in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Glover earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. She spent the next several years working in financial services and accounting, primarily in the real estate and property management industry, before completing an M.B.A. at the Bauer College of Business and a J.D. at the University of Houston Law Center in 2012.

She is licensed to appear before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Western District of Texas as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Western District of Texas.

After graduating from law school, Glover entered into private practice as a civil litigation attorney. She eventually joined the Fort Bend County Attorney’s Office, where she handled civil litigation, ordinance regulation, mental health, eminent domain, and employment matters as an assistant county attorney.

Her memberships have included the Houston Lawyers Association, the Fort Bend Bar Association, the Fort Bend County Junior Service League, and the Houston Black Leadership Institute. She is also actively involved with Suburban Houston.

Glover was born and raised in the Alief neighborhood of Houston, Texas.
