Biography

The Hon. Vincenzo J. Santini is a judge for the 457th District Court in Montgomery County, Texas. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Greg Abbott on July 23, 2020, filling a newly created court position.

Prior to his appointment, Santini worked as a senior litigation attorney for The Voss Law Firm, where he represented policyholders against bad faith insurance companies. Before that, he was an assistant district attorney in the Special Victims Unit of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, rising through the ranks to become District Court Chief.

Santini earned a B.S. in sociology and psychology from the University of Houston. He then completed a J.D. at South Texas College of Law in 2009.

His memberships have included the Montgomery County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Texas District and County Attorney Association. He has also served as secretary for Children’s Safe Harbor.

Santini has lived in Montgomery County for more than fourteen years. He is a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia. The Supreme Court Justice he most admires is Justice Antonin Scalia, particularly for his reasoning under the Crawford decision and the Heller case.

He is registered as a Republican.
