Biography

Hon. Carrie L. Polley is a family magistrate for the Baltimore County Circuit Court in the Third Judicial Circuit of Maryland.


Her legal career has also included practicing family law, divorce relations, child custody, and matrimonial law as an associate in the Law Offices of Sally B. Gold, LLC in Baltimore. Polley joined the firm in 2010. Before that, she was an associate in the Towson law firm of Hochberg, Costello & Baron (2006 to 2010).


Polley received a B.A. in communication and media from the University of Louisville in 2002. She went on to completed a J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2005. She was admitted to practice in Maryland in 2005.


Her memberships have included the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association (past secretary and treasurer).


Polley was born in Covington, Kentucky.
