Biography

The Hon. Charles G. Rogers is a judge for the San Diego County Superior Court in California. Rogers was initially appointed to the Municipal Court of San Diego by former Governor George Deukmejian in 1990. He retired from the bench in 2021.


Rogers earned a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1974.


Prior to his appointment to the bench, Rogers served as a deputy district attorney for the Office of the District Attorney of San Diego County. During his fourteen-year tenure there, he was assigned to the San Diego Metropolitan Task Force, where he was responsible for investigating a series of prostitute killings.
