Judge Denise M. Bowman: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

The Hon. Denise M. Bowman is a judge for the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She was elected to the bench on November 5, 2019.

Prior to her election, Bowman was a partner at Antheil Maslow & MacMinn in Doylestown. Before that, she was an attorney in the Litigation Division and Business & Commercial Practice Group at Hill Wallack. Bowman spent over twenty years as a litigation attorney, representing businesses, individuals, non-profits, and government entities in civil, commercial, and shareholder disputes at the trial and appellate levels.

Bowman earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. She then completed a J.D. at Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Her memberships have included the boards of United Way, the YMCA, the Red Cross, the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, and the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. She was also a volunteer coach for the Bensalem School District Mock Trial Team as well as a pro bono attorney for domestic violence victims through Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

She is a recipient of the Outstanding Service Award from the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce.

Bowman was a resident of Middletown Township at the time of her election.

She is registered as a Republican.
