Biography

Hon. J. Randall Corman is a judge for the Vicinage 8 Superior Court in Middlesex County in New Jersey. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Chris Christie in January 2013.


During his judicial tenure, Corman has held an assignment in the Civil Division in Middlesex County.


Prior to his appointment, his legal career included working as director of law for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, a position he assumed in 1997 (1997 to 2002). Before that, Corman served one term as a senator (19th District) in the New Jersey Senate (1992 to 1994).


In addition, he was an administrative law judge for the Middlesex County Workers’ Compensation Court and served as a Sayreville Councilman.


Corman received a bachelor’s degree in history from Rutgers University. He went on to complete a J.D. at Rutgers Law School in 1985.


He was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Sayreville, New Jersey. Corman graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School. He and his wife, Kathleen, have four children.


Corman is registered as a Republican.
