Biography

Hon. John T. Wallace is a judge for the Hocking County Court of Common Pleas (General and Domestic Relations Division) in Ohio. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor John Kasich in July 2011 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the late Hon. Thomas Gerken (deceased).


At the time of his appointment, Wallace presided as a judge for the Hocking County Municipal Court, a position he had held since 2006.


He received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of South Carolina. Wallace went on to complete a J.D. at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.


He is registered as a Republican.
