Biography

The Hon. Keith A. McIver is a magistrate for the 1st Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was appointed to the bench by the Hon. Kim A. Skievaski on May 9, 2006.

The 1st Judicial Circuit encompasses Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties. McIver has held assignments in Escambia County.

Prior to his appointment, McIver was an attorney in private practice. He specialized in family law matters.

McIver earned a B.S.E.M. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986. Then, in 1991, he completed a J.D. at West Virginia University College of Law. He is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law by the Florida Bar (1998).
