Biography

The Hon. Laurentina McKetney Butler is a judge for the Civil Court of the City of New York in Queens County. She was elected to the bench in 2015.

Prior to her election, McKetney Butler served as a principal law clerk for the New York State Supreme Court (2005 to 2013) as well as a court attorney for the Civil Court of the City of New York (2001 to 2012).

McKetney Butler earned a J.D. from the New York Law School in 1994.
