Biography

The Hon. Natalie R. Haupt is a judge for the General Division of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. She was elected to the bench on November 6, 2018, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. John G. Haas.


Haupt has presided over the Stark County Domestic Violence Court. She also sat on the Advisory Committee for the Stark County Re-Entry Court.


Prior to her election, Haupt was a magistrate for the Hon. John G. Haas of the Stark County Court of Common Pleas, a position to which she was selected in 2003. Before that, she briefly worked as an assistant public defender for the Portage County Public Defender’s Office (2002 to 2003).


Haupt earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the Ohio State University in 1999. She then completed a J.D. at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2002.


Her memberships have included the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Association of Magistrates, and the Stark County Bar Association.


Haupt is a resident of Hartville, Ohio.
