The Hon. Susan G. Barthle is a judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. She was elected to the bench in 2008, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Wayne Cobb (Ret.).
The 6th Judicial Circuit encompasses Pasco County and Pinellas County.
Prior to her judgeship, Barthle had served as an assistant public defender with the Office of the Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit since 2006. She entered the public arena after practicing at Garner and Garner from 1999 to 2006.
Barthle received her B.A. from the University of South Florida in 1996. She went on to earn a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1999.
She was named Attorney of the Year by the Office of the Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in 2007.
