The Hon. Timothy S. Healy is a judge for the Calaveras County Superior Court in California. He was elected to the bench in 2014.
Judge Healy received his bachelor's degree in history from Duke University in 1986. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2000.
Prior to his election to the Superior Court, Healy worked as a deputy district attorney with the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office. During his tenure there, he helped prosecute cases involving homicide, elder abuse, domestic violence, robbery, and sexual assault. He was also the lead prosecutor for the San Joaquin County Child Abduction Unit.
Healy served as an adjunct professor at Humphreys College.
During his time on the bench, Judge Healy has served as the Presiding Judge of the Court.
At the time of his election to the Superior Court, Healy was active in Cub Scouts, youth football, as well as with the Friends of Calaveras County Fair. He is also an avid sportsman.
