Biography

The Hon. William R. Gargano (Ret.) served as a commissioner for the Superior Court of San Francisco County in California. During his tenure as commissioner, he worked in many different departments, including the law and motion, small claims, pre-trial, family, child support, juvenile delinquency, and juvenile dependency. He retired on June 30, 2010.

Gargano earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco. He then received a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1971.

Gargano was born in San Francisco, California.
