Defendant State Bar of California’s Demurrer to the Complaint is SUSTAINED without leave to amend.Background: On January 23, 2018, plaintiff Rebeca Yale Cohl (“Plaintiff”) in pro per filed a complaint alleging a cause of action for negligence against State Bar of California . Plaintiff alleges that after three separate attorneys committed various improper acts while representing Plaintiff in her personal legal matters, Plaintiff filed complaints with Defendant regarding these attorneys. Plaintiff’s negligence claim is based on Defendant’s alleged failure to investigate Plaintiff’s complaints and Defendant’s dismissal of these complaints.
