Biography

Hon. Scott Brockman is a special judge for the Cleveland County District Court (District 21) in Oklahoma. He joined the bench in 2018.

Prior to beginning his judicial career, Brockman had managed his own private practice since 2016. In addition to that, he served as legal counsel for the Oklahoma City Community College.

He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. Brockman went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 2002.

After graduating from law school, Brockman began his legal career as an associate at Ward & Glass, LLP, where he practiced for fourteen years.

His wife, Dawn, is also an attorney. After practicing with the Oklahoma State School Boards Association, she eventually returned to her former profession as a high school teacher.

Brockman was born in Nazareth, Texas.
